A Different Perspective: Chapter Guide

What if we could connect all of Doctor Who's arcs to each other? What if I could somehow work Pysch in with Doctor Who? Oh, who needs what if's - I am rewriting Doctor Who and I am crossing it over with Psych for no reason other than I can. This is a massive rewrite of every Doctor Who series under RTD and Moffat's tenures, starting right back at the beginning. Who needs summaries for a rewrite. This fic will be strongly River/Doctor/Rose poly, though other relationships are shown and hinted at. Without giving too much away - every companion will indeed appear. But it's going to be very timey wimey.

A Different Perspective: Rose

Let's take things back 2005, drinks are pouring girls so fine... terrible start to a summary. I deeply apologize. So, when I started rewriting series three, I realized that a huge chunk of my new canon did not fit into series one or even series two. So this meant I had to go back and rewrite several individual episodes as well as reorder them... and since I was adding huge chunks and removing huge chunks, it meant a huge series rewrite. This is the first episode, Rose. While the plot remains the same, you may recognize some characters that were not included in the original episode. Consider this entire series an alternate universe: one where writers tell each other plot ideas and characterization stays consistent throughout every episode.

Altered Timelines and Fake Reassurances: Chapter Guide

Following quick on the heels of the first part of this fanfic (I did say it was a massive rewrite), we have a reboot of season two. I quickly realized around this point, entire episodes would have to hit the cutting floor and that parts would have to be stripped to their bare bones. This also focuses on cleaning up some of the plot points and creating my own new version of Doctor Who. I think it's great but who cares - I'm mostly doing this to make myself happy anyway. Still a Rose/Doctor/River poly being hinted at, but struggles will happen. Because happiness is something that must be sacrificed on the alter for character development and relationship growth. Also... if you think you know what happens, boy are you in for it.
